The Crossing Bar & Grill
About This Spot
Step into The Crossing Bar & Grill and you’re immediately wrapped in the kind of familiar comfort that only a well-loved local spot can offer. Nestled in Olive Branch, this lively bar and grill hums with a steady rhythm of friendly chatter, clinking glasses, and the occasional burst of song from the karaoke stage. It’s the kind of place where evenings move at an easy pace — unhurried yet full of energy.
The atmosphere at The Crossing feels like a crossroads in more ways than one. Here, neighbors and newcomers alike find common ground over hearty meals and cold brews, while the warm glow of the wood-toned interior invites you to settle in for the night. Whether you're winding down after the road or looking for a casual spot to catch live music, the space pulses with genuine moments and easy camaraderie.
Food plays a comfortable, unpretentious role in the experience. Plates arrive filled with satisfying fare that feels both familiar and thoughtfully prepared — from generous ribeye steaks paired with fresh salads to comforting Southern fried fish. The menu invites sharing and discovering new favorites as you chat with friends or cheer on the karaoke regulars. And when the night unfolds, the bar’s spirited cocktail selection, including a lively Caipirinha, keeps the mood just right.
As an evening spot, The Crossing has the kind of personality that thrives on human connections rather than polish. Here, the jukebox isn’t just background noise; it’s a soundtrack to laughter, storytelling, and the occasional spirited sing-along. The crowd leans friendly and welcoming, creating a space that feels like a familiar gathering place where everyone’s stories flow as freely as the drinks.
More than just a night out, The Crossing invites you to slow down, share a meal, and become part of a community that balances the unpretentious charm of a neighborhood grill with the lively buzz of a karaoke bar and live music venue. It’s a place to come as you are, stay for the company, and leave with a few authentic local stories to take home.

As an over the road Truck Driver there are not many restaurants you can eat at outside of chains. And of those that aren't chains, most reside along major interstates and are genuinely packed. Now the Crossing isn't a truck stop, nor is their target audience truckers, however they do have enough parking in back for a few trucks to stop and enjoy a solid meal. Now by solid meal I don't mean go into a Dennys and order steak and eggs, I mean old fashion sit down, and order something made with a decent level of pride behind whats served. The menu, beit small, was fairly priced. There was a tad concern as an OTR driver about portion size for the price, however much to my suprise, they don't cut corners. I ordered a streak with shrimp, something I don't order often as the steak and shrimp are usually on the the small side yet these were not. In addition to that order, it came with 2 sides, you get to pick, and I had home made onion rings and what also tasted to be home made potato salad. Unless Sysco or Gordon's upped there quality, its definitely home made lol. Anyway I think the photo will speak for itself, If you're a driver in the area, definitely stop, keep in mind that it does appear to be have bar half small venue, I'd use heed to use extra caution on Weekend evening as im sure that back lot may fill with cars as well. But if you're in the southern Greater Memphis or Olive Branch area definitely stop and check them out. I'll definitely be back. UPDATE 9/27/23 Still amazing

This was our first time in here. We really specifically went for karaoke and we had a great time! It was very easy to find and there was a nice, friendly crowd. The karaoke host was nice and kept the rotation going. We ordered 2 appetizers, fried mushrooms and chicken nachos. They were both good. Our server was Courtney and she was very sweet. All in all we had a good time and will go back!

Great hole in the wall where everyone knows everyone and the bullshit flows freely. Love it! The loud juke box and cigarette smoking prevented a 5 star rating. I didn't eat. So no rating.

I enjoyed my lunch at the Crossing bar & Grill in Olive Branch, Mississippi. I started out with a grilled shrimp po-boy sandwich with onion rings. For dessert, I had the chocolate lava cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side. Delicious!
